The 2nd “Open Art” International Festival will take place between April 19 and 21, 2019.

An exhibition featuring paintings, graphic art, comic art, “Street Activism” photography, various performances and the “Female Genital Mutilation” installment will be open throughout the Festival.

 “Take a fresh look”, a series of public service ads, will be available during all the three days the exhibition is open. You can put on some headphones and watch them without interacting with the world around you.

April 19 (Friday)

19.00 – Opening Ceremony of the “Open Art” Festival 2019

Greetings from the guests and partners of the Festival, overview of performances and workshops, introduction of participants, buffet reception.

22.00 – Close of the 1st day of the Festival

April 20 (Saturday)

12.00 – Start of the 2nd day of the Festival

12.30  – 13.30 “Gender in abstract expressionism” workshop

14.00 – 15.00 “The ins and outs of street photography” workshop

17.00 – 17.40 “Rejection” performance

18.00 — 18.30 Presentation of the “Consolation” interactive installation

22.00 – Close of the 2nd day of the Festival

April 21 (Sunday)

12.00 – Start of the 3rd day of the Festival

13.30   – 14.30      Film showing of “The 34th”, a documentary film on marriage equality in Ireland by Linda Cullen and Vanessa Gildea

15.00 – 16.30 Panel discussion: “Street activism and intersectional discrimination”

In this discussion activists who do street activism in various Russian cities will be joined online by activists from Ireland

20:30 – Closing Ceremony of the Festival
